Singing River Charter Chapter of the American Business Women's Association nominated Marlena Hemphill, as their 2015 Top Ten candidate. Candidates for this honor are selected based on professional accomplishments, education, community service and ABWA participation.
Marlena is a member of the Lady ELKS of Ocean Springs and a supporter of the Humane Society. At the last ABWA national conference Marlena, a member of the Inner Circle, was inducted into the ABWA Hall of Fame for being one of the two women in ABWA to sponsor 100 plus members.
As the Singing River Charter Chapter TOP TEN candidate, Marlena will be recognized at the 2014 National Conference in Overland Park, Kansas in October.
American Business Women's Association was organized in 1949 in Kansas and over the past 65 years has helped thousands of women progress in their professional lifes.
